Ednius was born out of frustration, in the hope of solving a problem its founders faced. One of our co-founders, Aishwarya, is a professor who has experienced firsthand how overwhelming grading can be—especially when you have hundreds of students and limited resources. Laksh, our other co-founder, saw the inefficiencies in the grading process and knew AI could make it smarter, faster, and more scalable.

We started experimenting with different approaches, testing prototypes, and working directly with professors to refine our system. What began as a small project quickly grew into a powerful tool, and before we knew it, universities and certification bodies started reaching out to use Ednius.

At its core, Ednius was built to help educators spend less time grading and more time actually teaching.
